Nandrolone Phenylpropionate has many similarities with nandrolone decanoate as they both share the same parent compound (nandrolone) only with different esters attached - much like comparing testosterone propionate and testosterone enanthate. That particular comparison is quite apt actually since we are comparing the ester length in both cases. Nandrolone Phenylpropionate (commonly called NPP) has a shorter ester than nandrolone decanoate and is therefore a faster acting compound. While very similar in both effect and side effect, NPP is reported to produce less bloat than deca - something that can likely be attributed to NPP's shorter ester.

Since NPP is faster acting than deca, more frequent administration (every day or every other day) is necessary, however the overall dosages would remain the same. Users should also be considerate of potential for the same types of side-effects (progestational activity in particular) and be prepared to take the same kind of ancillary measures like letro and/or dosinex. As a faster acting compound, PCT for NPP use can start sooner than what one would consider with decanoate (5 days versus 2 weeks).

NPP can be used in either bulking or cutting cycles depending on the make up of your stack. Paired with testosterone or oxymetholone (or both) a user could expect significant gains in strength and size. Stacked with a faster acting injectable like testosterone propionate and a DHT derived oral like stanozolol or oxandrolone would produce some good strength gains as well as assisting to attain harder looking muscles.
